Fashion Revolution Week 2025

Fashionrevolutionweekk

Fashion Revolution Week takes place every April commemorating the Rana Plaza tragedy. During this week, consumers are encouraged to ask brands the question: “Who made my clothes?” to increase transparency in the fashion industry and promote ethical and sustainable production.

This year’s theme is “Think globally, act locally”. Community is not just a phenomenon formed by a group of individuals coming together but it represents the driving forces of change. We would like to focus on the transformative power of collective action shaped by strong stakeholders and conscious individuals. In this context, we would like to diversify the panels, fair fashion talks, workshops, clothes swap events, movie screenings, exhibitions, and social media campaigns. The aim is to engage and encourage people to become conscious consumers and push for systemic change in the fashion industry. We can lead the change together, but we need you!

Fashion Revolution Week 2025 is going to start on the 24th of April and will continue to the 8th of May. Check out our agenda! We look forward to seeing you at our events, see you soon!

Are you ready for the clothes swapping event for Fashion Revolution Week?

It will take place on 7th May at Buitenhof 35, 9000 Gent.

We have a few requests, to make the event clearer and nicer:

  • Please don’t bring any shoes, underwear, lingerie, socks or jewellery to swap

  • Bring only clothes in good condition, both adults’ and kids’ clothes are welcome

  • Every participant can bring up to 10 pieces. You can do it before the event on collection days (5th and 6th May from 9am to 7pm) to GMF (Dampoortstraat 81 9000 Gent) or at the event. You will get the proper amount of tokens, which you can use to buy new clothes.

We also planned additional activities during this event!

19:00 - 20:00 - happy hour

Buy a piece of clothing for 2 euros each. The income will go to a charity organisation. We will inform you which one before the event!
