Sundance Kit prepares take-away meals from local, organic vegetables from the outskirts of Ghent, and peas and lentils. They sell two different curries and two soups a week. They offer their meals in preserving jars at Ohne in Steendam and at Elisabethlaan.
The vegetables come from the Goedinge ( Afsnee) and the Fulfillment ( Wachtebeke). If necessary, they are supplemented with local vegetables from De Vroente. Sundance Kit purchases the pods, lentils and chickpeas, as well as the herbs and oil to prepare it via Ohne. The meals are ready-made, and can be combined with bread, rice, potatoes, etc.
We krijgen de vraag wel vaker: ‘Ja, maar, hoe weten we nu dat fair trade wel echt is?’, ‘Ze zeggen zoveel dus ik weet het niet meer, en koop dan maar gewoon zoals voorheen’.
