Soepbar Sordo is a small but cozy soup house in the center of Ghent, near the Gravensteen and the Patershol. Sordo means deaf in Spanish and this name fits the soup bar perfectly.
Entrepreneur Christophe is deaf, but that didn't stop him from starting his own business. On the contrary, in Sordo, clear instructions on the walls encourage you to order in sign language. You immediately discover how easy it is to communicate with someone who is deaf.
At least three types of soup are available every day and you can choose from various Fairtrade drinks.
